A digital classroom is a learning environment where teachers and students use digital technology and internet-connected devices to engage in educational activities. It integrates digital tools, software, and online resources to facilitate instruction, communication, and collaboration, making it possible for teaching and learning to occur in physical or virtual settings. In other words, a digital classroom isn’t necessarily virtual. Even in a physical classroom, educators and learners can access technology-driven capabilities and resources to aid the learning experience.
Teachers can participate in a digital classroom in many ways
Delivering lessons via video conferencing tools.
Assigning work through a learning management system (LMS).
Providing real-time feedback using digital tools, such as quizzes or polls.
Accessing lessons and course materials through a digital platform
Submitting assignments, completing quizzes, and joining interactive activities online.
Collaborating with peers on group projects through shared documents or discussion forums.
DISCOVERY ROOM
Discovery room is designed for Early Childhood Development Activities. It helps to improve thinking processes necessary for learning, problem-solving skills while children have fun learning experiences.
MONTESSORI LAB
A Montessori Lab is a learning space that is designed using Montessori Principles. This unique space has Montessori Learning Materials to aid learning and development in various areas like Practical Life, Sensory Refinement, Language, Math etc. The teachers or guides in a Montessori Lab are specially trained in Montessori teaching techniques.
So, essentially a Montessori Lab is a combination of three concepts:
Montessori Principles.
Learning Materials
Teaching Techniques
TRANSPORT FACILITY
The centennial School provides safe and regular bus transportation to students who require to avail of this facility. The vast majority of the youngsters rely upon school transportation facilities for their daily commute to school. Henceforth, appropriate help and refreshed technological updates accessible with the transports are an absolute necessity. The school has a luxury fleet of buses with the best safety arrangements available for the important routes and neighboring areas. School buses are spacious with the required capacity to accommodate students. Every bus has a teacher to ensure proper discipline & safety of students. The students in school buses are accompanied by well-trained attendants/escorts to ensure their safety.
School Transportation Rules
Transportation facility will be made available on specified routes and designated stops only.
Parents have to understand these practical situations that school transportation, is like any other vehicle on road, which may get delayed sometimes due to traffic and road conditions or some technical fault and they should be at their best in cooperating towards the same.
The school transport routes are subject to change depending upon the requirements of the students and it is at the individual consideration of the school administration.
For any addition or change in the route, the interested parents may contact the principal with a written request. The change may be allowed as per the probability and availability.
In case any parent wishes to withdraw from the school transport facility, the student requires informing the school, writing in advance for the withdrawal.
Emergency Transportation Service
The school has a vehicle and a driver for emergency transportation of pupils to hospitals/clinics.
