CURRICULUM
Blended Curriculum For Modern Education
Pedagogy needs to evolve to keep up with the changing needs of the 21st century. The pedagogy in India was shaped by the requirements laid down by the colonial powers and chiefly required recalling of facts and the curricula created reflected that need. The times have changed and the present pedagogy requires the teacher to encourage students to develop and communicate, reflect on, synthesise and apply knowledge. The NCERT has done significant work in this respect. However, no single curriculum has all the features that we require; hence we created our own student-centric curriculum that supports our vision.

The Centennial School flexible learning curriculum has the best content from NCERT and others.
Conducting classes for Olympiads in order to keep our students on top of the competitive exams
Integrated topic studies, rather than whole-group instruction in isolated skills
Ensuring a balance of child and teacher-initiated activities
Providing opportunities for spontaneous play as well as teacher-facilitated activities
Submitting assignments, completing quizzes, and joining interactive activities online.
Collaborating with peers on group projects through shared documents or discussion forums.
